• Overview of Careers in Industry

  • All fellows will attend a panel of physicians who currently work in industry to learn more about this less-known career opportunity for PHO physicians. 

• Overview of Subspecialty Fellowships in PHO

  • All fellows will attend a panel with current and recent graduates from the three common sub-specialty fellowships in PHO.

  • Fellowships being represented are Neuro-Oncology, Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant and Palliative Care.

• Career Path Break Out Rooms

  • Each fellow will attend two 30-minute break out rooms. Each room will host a panel of four Pediatric Hematology/Oncology faculty members from programs across the US. Panelists will provide information about their personal career path and will offer advice to fellows looking to follow a similar path.

    • Room 1: Physician Scientists (laboratory and clinical research)

    • Room 2: Clinical Faculty
